Job Summary
Process paperwork for purchase and sale transactions in accounts holding alternative assets, including requests to liquidate assets and in-kind distributions. Prepare various orders to complete requested transactions from clients or brokers and reconcile records with reporting entities to ensure accuracy. Conduct research as needed and complete required BSA/AML and compliance training. Maintain a constant state of alertness while performing data entry tasks in an office setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area
- 7 - 11 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature
- Intermediate: 10-Key
- Basic: Accounting
- Basic: Alphanumeric Data Entry
- Basic: Word Processing/Typing
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
- Detail oriented and able to solve problems
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts that relate to alternative asset transactions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
