Job Summary
Lead IT Audit engagements in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 (SOC 2+ HITRUST) assessments and SSAE18, while guiding a team across locations. Manage design and operating effectiveness reviews of IT controls (GITCs and ITACs) related to Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting, drive process improvements and automation, and ensure quality in client interactions. Oversee engagement economics, resourcing, and reporting; mentor Senior Associates and Associates toward career development; collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT controls into business processes and contribute to practice initiatives in learning, hiring, automation, and operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading IT audit engagements in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards
- Knowledge of SOC 1 and SOC 2 (including SOC 2+) assessments and related attestation requirements
- Familiarity with HITRUST and SSAE18 frameworks
- Ability to manage multiple engagements across locations and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong project management and engagement economics/ resourcing/ reporting
- Ability to document audit findings and prepare management recommendations
- Experience contributing to practice initiatives (learning, hiring, automation, operations)
