Job Summary
GT/Testing Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating G/T services across SST campuses, including planning and evaluating GT programs, maintaining GT student databases, collaborating with principals and teachers to develop annual professional development plans, chairing the District Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee, preparing and submitting lesson plans and progress reports, and ensuring compliance with district G/T plans while maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for level and subject area of assignment (required for ESL/Bilingual, SPED and preferred for other subjects)
- Meet Texas “highly qualified” standards
- O Extensive knowledge of working with G/T students
- O 3 years successful gifted and talented education teaching experience is preferred
