Job Summary
Lead daily instruction in a GSRP preschool classroom serving 4-year-olds; design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with GSRP standards to support school readiness in early literacy, math, and social-emotional learning; maintain a safe, organized classroom and document student progress per program requirements; build strong relationships with families through regular communication and conferences; collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership; ensure compliance with Michigan licensing and GSRP standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Must meet Michigan GSRP Lead Teacher qualification requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with developmentally appropriate practice
- Knowledge of GSRP standards and Michigan licensing requirements
- Ability to build relationships with families and teams
- Observational and documentation skills
