Job Summary
Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum while creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for preschool-aged children. Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe learning space and communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community. Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and support children's individual learning needs to encourage their social and emotional growth. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills. This role offers no nights or weekends, with a schedule focused on daytime hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills
- No nights
