GSRP (Pre-K) Lead Teacher

Job Summary
Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum while conducting child observations and assessments with approved tools. Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management, and develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child to lead parent-teacher conferences. Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations, and participate in required professional development and coaching. Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners. This state-funded, nationally recognized Pre-K program serves 4-year-old children in Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements
- The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
