Job Summary
GSRP Pre-K Associate Teacher in Canton, MI supports the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum; assists in observing and assessing children’s development; helps maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom; builds positive relationships with children and families; participates in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development; candidates should have an Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or a valid CDA credential with a plan to complete an associate degree) and have experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
- Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree
- Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements
