Job Summary
Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and client-specific tools to identify threats impacting executives, operations, and assets. Perform in-depth research on global security issues, terrorism, and geopolitical events to assess potential impacts on client interests. Monitor a 24/7 inbox and phone line, then escalate critical matters related to employee welfare and operational incidents to security management. Collect, validate, and analyze intelligence to produce actionable threat and travel risk assessments. Maintain highly sensitive confidential information and track project progress.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- at least three years within a GSOC environment
- intelligence, geopolitical, or security-related experience
- Familiar with standard security communication protocols and security tools
- Knowledgeable of news and current world events
- Self-motivated and curious
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information
- Able to analyze and provide rigorous and creative insight into complex situations
- Client orientated and results driven
- Able to multi-task and deliver timely work products in a fast-paced environment
- Serve as an effective team member
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office
- Travel, as required
