Job Summary
Food & Beverage Supervisor on trains, supporting Front of House operations and FOH management. Responsible for assisting with day-to-day duties, supervising servers and concession staff, training Front of House personnel, conducting audits of orders, cash handling, and customer service, resolving guest issues, ensuring quality service and sanitation, maintaining inventory and cost controls, utilizing Square POS, and coordinating with FOH Supervisor. Requires at least 6 months of supervisory experience (hospitality/F&B preferred), knowledge of wine/liquor/beer, NC RASP certification (preferred), SERV Safe certification or plan to achieve in 90 days, valid driver's license, ability to pass DMV/background/fitness-for-duty checks, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; position is Seasonal on trains with varied environments and safety considerations.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of proven supervisory experience; hospitality/F&B experience preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
- Must have knowledge of wine, liquor, and beer; bartending ability
- Must have understanding of NC Alcoholic Beverage Commission’s RASP; certification preferred
- SERV Safe certified or ability to achieve within 90 days
- Valid Driver’s License; DMV background check
- Ability to pass background check and Fit for Duty evaluation; lift 50 lbs
- Flexible work schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to manage inventory, cash handling, Square POS and related systems
- Experience with FIFO, sanitation regulations, and food safety practices
- Strong leadership, delegation, and accountability skills
- Ability to train Front of House staff and coach on performance
- Experience in audits of customer service processes and cash handling
