Job Summary
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all systems associated with work equipment (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic) for Ground Service Equipment and vehicles at Saskatoon Airport; diagnose and fix issues, evaluate parts for reuse or replacement, use hand and power tools, operate cranes and forklifts as needed, submit maintenance records and time sheets, and travel to bases in the network. On-call responsibilities and the ability to travel outside of the country are required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Technician/ Apprentice
- On call availability
- A criminal background check
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada
- Legally able to travel outside of the country
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather
