Job Summary
The GSE Mechanic Level III is essential for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on both motorized and non-motorized airline and aircraft ground support equipment. Key responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The role requires a strong electrical background and the ability to diagnose issues using test equipment. Additionally, candidates must have 6 years of verified experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate under safety standards. Flexibility for shift work is necessary to meet operational demands.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- 6 years of verified experience required
- Must provide their own tools and toolbox
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal)
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
- Effective communication skills in English

- Must be able to demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job location
- Must be able to crawl, crouch, bend, stretch, and kneel
