Job Summary
Oversees Ground Service Equipment (GSE) maintenance and quality control for aviation fueling operations. Manages an onsite and remote team; develops policies for GSE procurement, maintenance cadence, and budgeting. Maintains records and the company’s Preventative Maintenance software; coordinates QC inspections on fuel equipment, fuel handling processes, and storage systems. Manages departmental budgeting including CapEx for GSE acquisition and lifecycle planning; trains staff, assigns work, evaluates performance, and ensures adherence to safety and company policies. Requires mechanical ability, budgeting proficiency, Excel skills, and strong written/verbal communication; travel up to 20% to other CLA locations for training or projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in GSE maintenance, or equivalent
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Automotive/diesel certifications (e.g., ASE) or similar education or training (preferred)
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Possess valid driver’s license and ability to receive required airport access badges
- Travel up to 20% of the time
