GSE Mechanic

Inspect and maintain ground support equipment used in operations, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling units as needed. Check and service equipment with fuel, water, oil, and hydraulic fluids while diagnosing problems using test equipment and applicable manuals. Build and assemble machines or mechanical components, inspect engines and transmissions, and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues. Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability, perform thorough maintenance, clean components, and apply lubricants. Replenish fluids and components, provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to users, keep work logs, and report on issues. Complete GSE paperwork as required.
