Job Summary
Operate and drive all types of motorized and non-motorized ground support equipment while performing preventive maintenance per established schedules. Diagnose and repair malfunctioning GSE, removing units from service until properly fixed and ensuring all maintenance documentation meets carrier, airport authority, and federal requirements. Maintain a clean, serviceable shop environment and adhere to OSHA, EPA, and FAA safety guidelines. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and experience in mechanical or diesel maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in mechanical/diesel/gas ground support equipment maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands
- Must possess normal corrected hearing and vision
- Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
