Job Summary
Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on airport service vehicles, including support trucks, tankers, and hydrant trucks. Repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling, and mechanical systems while performing monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment. Maintain records relating to maintenance and drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles. Ensure proper preventative care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment, maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess mechanical tools and toolbox
- Must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience
- Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals
