Job Summary
Oversee and ensure safety, performance, and compliance of elevator, escalator, and lift systems across a multi-state region. Provide technical guidance on vertical transportation systems; conduct QEI-certified inspections to ASME/ANSI standards; review maintenance and inspection reports; support repairs, upgrades, and new installations; maintain asset inventory and performance tracking; analyze system performance and recommend improvements; coordinate with contractors and resolve service issues; support capital projects planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- QEI Certification from the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities (NAESA) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical systems, or related field (preferred)
- 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in vertical transportation systems
- US citizenship
- Knowledge of ASME A17.1, ANSI, and related national codes
- Ability to analyze inspection data, maintenance trends, and contractor performance metrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance documentation
