Job Summary
Contract Facility Manager to support GSA PBS for federally owned and leased facilities, overseeing daily operations, inspections, and project activities across sites related to the DHS ICE Hiring Surge Program. Responsible for ensuring compliance with GSA property management standards, overseeing construction and repair projects, coordinating with tenants and contractors, and serving as on-site representative for building performance, customer service, and safety. Travel approximately 25% to support covered facilities. Requires 5+ years of progressive facilities/project management experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent management experience), knowledge of building codes and systems, ability to obtain HSPD-12 clearance, and proficiency with relevant tools. Will prepare inspection reports, manage documentation and budgeting under COR direction, and support tenant relations and space modifications. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, business, real estate, or related field
- Five years of progressive experience in construction project management, commercial/residential building management, or managing a portfolio of leased properties
- Knowledge of national, state, and local building codes
- Ability to obtain and maintain HSPD-12 clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with GSA systems and tools (e.g., PBS Portal, Lease Management Tool)
- Resume documenting at least three relevant projects or properties, including cost, duration, scope, challenges, and references
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to perform physical inspection tasks including climbing ladders, navigating mechanical spaces, and wearing PPE
