GS Finance Accounting Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead GSF Accounting team in Bangkok to ensure compliant daily operations, timely closing and execution of financial periods, reconciliation of balances, and SOX/compliance governance. Responsible for completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals within the process scope; drive adherence to worldwide procedures and internal controls; manage a team of B25 and below associates, attract and develop talent, and serve as a trusted business partner. Execute global strategy and solutions, recruit and mentor Process SMEs for cross-functional alignment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Role involves up to 10-20% international travel, flexible shifts to align with global responsibilities, and English language proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years in Supervisory/1st Line Leader role in a Shared Service or BPO organization
- Experience in managing 5 and above Team size headcount
- Track record of participating in Continuous Improvement and/or organizational or process transformation
- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a multi-national company
- Experience in at least 1 migration of work
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders
- Open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Fluent in English, other language skills desirable
