Job Summary
Growth Planning Lead at Anglian Water responsible for tactical planning to respond to planning applications, including NSIPs and Transport and Works Act Orders. Lead and manage a planning team, oversee NSIP/TWAO caseload, represent the company at examinations and industry forums, and align growth priorities with operational and investment plans. Drive data-driven insights to support strategic growth, improve planning processes, and engage with developers, regulators and internal stakeholders. Requires a degree in planning and postgraduate planning qualifications or RTPI membership; strong advocacy, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills; ability to influence across multiple teams and manage competing priorities. Hybrid working with ~2 days per week in the Peterborough office; permanent, full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in a planning-related discipline (essential)
- Postgraduate planning qualifications and/or Chartered Member/Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute (essential)
