Growth Engineer (Software Engineer) LOCAL FOR PARAGUAY

Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement growth-focused product features to improve user acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and conversion metrics. Plan, build, and execute A/B tests and product experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize user experiences. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering teams to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives. Analyze user behavior, product funnels, and business metrics to uncover insights and recommend improvements while instrumenting applications with analytics tracking. Optimize onboarding experiences, user flows, referral programs, and monetization experiments to reduce friction and improve activation rates. Build internal tools and automations that enhance marketing, sales, and growth operations. Monitor and report on experiment outcomes, growth KPIs, and business impact while continuously iterating on successful initiatives. Location: 100% on-site from Asuncion, Paraguay. Working hours: 9 AM - 6 PM Paraguay Time Zone.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Product Engineering, or Full-Stack Development
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using front-end and back-end technologies
- Experience working with analytics platforms, experimentation frameworks, or data-driven product development
- Strong understanding of product metrics, conversion funnels, user engagement, and growth strategies
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate business goals into measurable technical initiatives
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full-Stack Development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
- Backend Development (Node.js, Python, .NET, Java, or similar)

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Growth Engineering, Product Engineering, Growth Product, or Startup environment
- Experience with customer acquisition, conversion optimization, and retention initiatives
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and growth frameworks
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools
- Experience working in SaaS businesses and subscription-based products
- Understanding of pricing experiments, paywalls, freemium models, or monetization strategies
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
