Job Summary
Lead growth strategy and enrollment operations for Pursuit, owning recruitment metrics, enrollment targets, and pipeline health; design and test growth strategies across outreach channels, partnerships, events, referrals, and marketing campaigns; build dashboards to monitor performance and generate actionable insights; manage external partnerships with community-based organizations, workforce providers, libraries, and educational institutions; represent Pursuit at community events and stakeholder meetings; identify AI-enabled opportunities to automate workflows across recruitment and admissions; collaborate with Product and Program teams to build AI-powered admissions tools; plan recruitment events, coordinate staffing, and support applicants through the admissions process; recruit, manage, and develop team members, contractors, Builders, or volunteers to support enrollment goals; drive scalable systems to reduce manual work and focus on relationship-building across NYC and broader communities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in growth, recruitment, community engagement, partnerships, workforce development, nonprofit operations, or related field
- Experience owning metrics and driving outcomes
- Analytical mindset with data-driven problem solving
- Strong operational instincts and systems-building skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Willingness to lead and develop team members, contractors, or volunteers
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build new approaches where playbooks don’t exist
