Job Summary

Intern will support Growing Hope Project Director and Lead Growing Hope Intern to engage program partners, plan and facilitate events, and identify Growing Hope Youth Ambassadors. They will maintain relationships with program partners, coordinate programming, assist with curriculum delivery in summer camp programs, and support community engagement efforts. The role involves maintaining a comprehensive database of educational partners, coordinating scheduling and asset delivery, representing the Growing Hope team on partner calls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Growing Hope programs such as Picturing Hope and Chutzpah Girls. The internship is on-site at Bernard Weinger JCC with frequent local travel throughout Chicagoland and a夏 stipend of $3,024 for July–August 2026; typical schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00am–4:30pm, with some nights/weekends as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently in High School (In Progress) - meets the requirements for the internship program.
  • Must have decent understanding and familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with community partners and staff.
  • Must have excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Have reliable transportation to various locations around Chicagoland area.
  • Written and verbal communication skills required.
  • A strong customer service focus to provide top support to staff.
