Grove Place Surgery - Per Diem RN PreOp/PACU

Evaluate patients' physical and mental health, gather relevant medical history, and prepare them for surgery, including assessment of surgical site, airway quality, and administration of pre-operative medications and IV fluids. Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and families, verify informed consent, and conduct venipuncture as needed. Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall condition during recovery, administer pain medication, and recognize or manage complications. Assess readiness for discharge, provide discharge instructions, and maintain accurate documentation of nursing care. Ensure proper supplies and equipment are ready for use. This is a per diem position with no calls, no weekends, and holidays off at Regent Surgical Health.
