Job Summary
Part-Time Year-Round Retail Shift Supervisor at Grove Park Inn by Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) leading floor operations, guiding Sales Associates, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include overseeing shifts, delegating tasks, opening/closing duties, scheduling, merchandising support, stock/cleaning, and maintaining a tidy, high-service floor. Requires supervisory experience in retail (preferred), cash handling, familiarity with Lightspeed POS, Microsoft Office, and strong customer service/communication skills. Must be punctual, dependable, able to stand for long periods, lift 50lbs, and work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. Located in Asheville, NC, with a focus on outdoor recreation opportunities in western North Carolina. Training and staff development emphasis, with adherence to NOC policies and equal employment principles.
