Job Summary
Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling focusing on engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving while delivering specialized clinical social work services. Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment, evaluate intervention effectiveness, and assess psychosocial functioning to define specific, measurable goals. Respond promptly to social work service requests and utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric emergencies. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and adhere to standards for diverse patient populations. Work Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8a-4:30p as a part-time Group Therapist at Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field
- Illinois State license in social work or clinical related mental health field
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility

- Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire
