Job Summary
Group Therapist-CSAC role conducting group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups for detox and residential treatment. Responsibilities include helping clients develop healthy coping skills, collaborating with clinical staff, escalating significant concerns to the Clinical Director, maintaining thorough documentation of group sessions, and ensuring all clinical assessments and individual client charting are completed. The ideal candidate holds a CSAC licensure with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field, has at least one year of treatment industry experience (preferred), and demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, recovery-oriented presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field preferred
- Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
- Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state- CSAC
- If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Strong presence and sound judgement
- Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles
