Job Summary
Plan and implement engaging activities for a group of children; provide homework assistance and academic support; coordinate planning and execution of site events; supervise development and health needs of the group and individual child; maintain and prepare progress notes and group notes; advocate for tenants to access medical, mental health, and other services; manage a caseload with comprehensive case management for families and single adults; assist youth with college applications and FAFSA; liaise with DOE/BOE and IEP meetings; develop educational goals and engage families to improve functioning; ensure safe, well-maintained program resources; participate in mandated trainings and collaborate with program staff to deliver education services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, mental health counseling, psychology, sociology etc.
- Teachers or Assistant Teachers Certification
- 2-3 years’ experience in a residential setting
