Job Summary
Under the direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, the Swim Instructor is responsible for the overall execution and instruction of District learn-to-swim programs including parent & tot, preschool, youth, and adult level classes. Instructors create a safe, open, and positive environment, adhere to StarGuard Elite guidelines and the district curriculum, complete progress reports, participate in staff trainings, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety and order in the pool area.
Required Qualifications
- Current Water Safety Instructor, lifeguard, or equivalent and CPR/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer certifications required.
