Group Series Tour Consultant (Travel/Tourism)

Job Summary
Coordinate pre-packaged and tailor-made group series tours for international markets by managing reservations, loading bookings on Tourplan, and confirming services with suppliers. Act as the primary contact for travel agents and tour operators, handling written confirmations, invoicing, payment queries, and arranging meet-and-greets. Compile travel packs, rooming lists, and vouchers while maintaining constant communication regarding reservation status, deadlines, and conditions. Manage client care throughout the tour period, including guide coordination, complaint resolution, and emergency management. Build and retain relationships with B2B and B2C partners to ensure exceptional service delivery and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3 to 5 Years work experience dealing with group series within the tourism industry
- Attention to detail is essential
- A mature approach when dealing with people
- Capacity for dealing with employers and workers at all levels
- Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
- Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Integrity and Honesty
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good Problem-solving skills
- Negotiation and liaison abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Travel & Tourism qualification would be preferable
- Tourplan knowledge and execution would be preferable
- Excellent South African and Regional geographic knowledge
