Job Summary
The Group Security Officer will develop and implement security policies and procedures, coordinate risk assessments and audits, and manage security incidents at Damen Shipyards. Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in security management or related fields, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in security management, criminology, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment
- Extensive knowledge of security systems, technologies, and practices
- Experience with personal security and coordinating security measures for high-profile individuals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in crisis situations
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge of ISO27001 and national and international security laws and regulations for military projects
- Military background preferred
- Stress-resistant and flexible
