Job Summary
Group Reservations Coordinator for a beachfront resort focused on capturing group business through precise reservations management, collaboration with sales and conference services, and delivering high-quality guest experiences. Responsibilities include receiving, coordinating, and confirming group reservations; monitoring group room blocks; communicating changes and billing requirements; preparing reports (pick-up status, group resumes); partnering with sales, conference services, and departments to resolve issues; participating in pre-conference meetings and calls; representing the resort at events; and supporting special projects while maintaining meticulous records and delivering superior service. Key skills include effective verbal and written communication, strong organization and attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office and reservation systems, ability to analyze data for practice improvements, independent work ethic with team collaboration, and flexibility to work on-site with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 12 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum one year of high-volume call center experience in a metric-driven environment
- Experience with TRACK Pulse and/or Springer-Miller Systems (SMS) preferred
