Job Summary
Anchor for a defined portfolio of close, consolidation, technical-accounting and SOX activities within the Group Reporting Team. Own end-to-end ownership of sub-processes within the Group close, including monthly and quarterly consolidation under US GAAP, onboarding new entities, preparation of consolidation packs, and managing the close calendar. Author or co-author technical-accounting memos on revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, financial instruments, share-based payments, restricted cash, and functional currency. Lead day-to-day auditor relationships and obtain sign-off before external sharing; monitor new pronouncements and assess impact. Own designated SOX controls end-to-end, drive improvements and oversee testing. Contribute to external reporting such as the Form 20-F and footnotes. Requires multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience with IFRS and US GAAP exposure; experience with NetSuite, HFM, OneStream, SAP BFC or similar tools is preferred. Strong written-English drafting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, post-IPO environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CPA or local equivalent
- 7+ years of minimum experience in accounting or financial reporting
- 2+ years of post-qualification experience in industry in an accounting or group reporting role
- Big 4 or top-tier mid-market firm trained
- Demonstrable, hands-on expertise in IFRS; US GAAP experience a strong plus
- Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience
- NetSuite preferred; HFM, OneStream, SAP BFC, BPC or similar acceptable
- SOX knowledge is also ideal for this role
- Direct experience interfacing with Big 4 firms and component auditors on technical positions
- Strong written-English drafting memos, footnote disclosures, audit responses
