Group Reporting Accountant

Job Summary
Produce monthly management accounts and provide high-quality commentary and variance analysis for entities within the Group Holding stack. Support the Group Reporting Manager with the production of the Group consolidation of over 80 entities under IFRS, including preparation of consolidation journals such as investment eliminations, intercompany eliminations, and acquisition accounting adjustments. Review submissions from subsidiary entities via detailed balance sheet and P&L reconciliation, then produce high-quality monthly financial reporting packs including P&L and cash flows. Assist with audits, corporate tax returns, and statutory submissions while challenging existing reporting and controls to drive continuous improvement. Support the growth and capability of trainee accountants and autonomously contribute to business improvement projects. Work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in our Crewe office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience of working in a Finance related role
- ACA/ACCA part or newly qualified
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to deliver high quality work
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Able to work under pressure and effectively prioritise to achieve strict deadlines and targets
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Thrives on challenge and accountability
