Group Practice Manager, Certified Prosthetist Orthotist

Job Summary

Lead a small group of O&P clinics to ensure timely, high-quality patient care across a connected network, managing up to 60% clinical practice while overseeing 8–10 direct reports. Connect individual clinics into a cohesive team, share resources, and eliminate delivery barriers to improve efficiency and care coordination. Oversee daily operations, manage staffing plans, and monitor KPIs and financial performance to drive operational and financial results. Align clinical strategies with regional leadership, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and build relationships with local healthcare providers and stakeholders. Foster a unified, collaborative culture through mentorship, training, and adherence to best practices while advocating for employee engagement and patient experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Current board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics from the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC)
  • A baccalaureate degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics, or the foreign equivalent, and current ABC Board-Eligibility in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics
  • A valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
  • In states where licensure is required, the ability to obtain and maintain state licensure
  • Minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Orthotics and/or Prosthetics or related healthcare administration or services
  • Minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures
  • Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (ex. Word, Excel)

Desired Qualifications

  • Five years' experience in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics providing direct patient care, preferred
  • Two to four years 3rd party billing experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Allied Healthcare field
  • Four years of experience managing a medical clinic or healthcare services facility
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in delegation and holding individuals accountable
  • Ability to partner and collaborate with others across the organization
  • Ability to evaluate and monitor clinical capabilities and skill levels
  • Ability to effectively manage, develop and motivate employees
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and ability to use that information to drive business results
  • Competent knowledge of orthotics and/or prosthetics patient care management
