Job Summary
Monitor daily student activities in the dental care center and oversee patient care management within the group practices. Collaborate with dental students, faculty, and the clinic manager to resolve patient problems and ensure patient records are completed. Track encounter forms for student academic credit and remit them to clinic management for processing. Provide direct management oversight of assigned pre-doctoral academic administration. This role supports the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care at NYU, which aims to be a carbon-neutral campus by 2040.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination
- experience in academic administration and/or supervising clinical activities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a large dental clinic operation
- Familiarity with Article 28 and related health protocols
