Job Summary
Group Platform Manager for SDFC responsible for SAP Commerce Cloud configuration, deployment, and operational health across nine business units, and for defining platform architecture, governance, and integration patterns. Lead onboarding of BUs to a shared multi-BU instance, manage catalog separation, pricing, and merchandising logic, and collaborate with BU digital leaders on roadmaps. Own platform integration standards with ERP/CRM/DAM/PIM systems (JDE, Dynamics, Brandfolder, Salsify, etc.), define PIM strategy, and establish release governance. Maintain the design system and accessibility standards, coordinate with web managers to ensure consistent front-end implementations, and oversee vendor relationships (onshore/offshore) under SOWs/SLAs. Drive data governance across the stack and ensure scalable, reusable platform capabilities for both B2B and D2C configurations. Travel up to 10% as needed. IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years managing enterprise commerce platforms (SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce, Adobe Commerce, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with multi-tenant or multi-instance B2B commerce deployments
- Deep knowledge of ERP integrations (JDE preferred; SAP, Oracle, NetSuite acceptable)
- Experience with DAM platforms (Brandfolder, Bynder, or equivalent) and PIM platforms (Salsify, Akeneo, inRiver preferred)
- Track record managing onshore and offshore development vendors under SOWs and SLAs
- Comfort setting UX and accessibility standards and holding teams accountable
- Architecturally rigorous thinking and strong technical communication skills
- Governance mindset to enable autonomy without bottlenecks
- Vendor management skills including managing both onshore and offshore pods
- Analytical mindset with ability to measure uptime, errors, MTTR, and cost per feature
