Job Summary
Manage staffing, development, and performance programs for machining operations while overseeing safety, schedules, and system resources for C175 Blocks across all shifts. Coach front-line leaders and drive improvements to overall operations PQVC performance by implementing production safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms. Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe manufacturing environment through hazard identification, emergency response design, and corrective action initiation. Align staffing and execution plans to meet business commitments, monitor adherence to policies, and facilitate cross-departmental communications to achieve production targets and forecasts. Lead value stream BIQ deployments, direct quality reviews, and solve business pain through effective problem-solving to drive out scrap and improve As-Delivered Quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Performance Management (extensive knowledge)
- Planning and Organizing (extensive experience)
- Manufacturing Operations (extensive experience)
- Quality Management (extensive experience)
- Manufacturing Safety (extensive experience)
- Experience with Built in Quality (BIQ)
- Lean Leadership
- Component manufacturing experience in machine shop, heat treat or foundry operations
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
- Relocation is available for this position
