Group Logistics Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement group-wide logistics and supply chain strategies to ensure efficiency, standardisation, and operational excellence across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites. Optimise transport networks, fleet utilisation, and delivery schedules while managing third-party logistics providers against KPIs and service standards. Oversee warehousing operations and inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock visibility and reducing slow-moving inventory to improve working capital. Drive utilisation of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems to develop dashboards and support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics planning with customer demand and resolve operational issues. Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and SHEQ standards while leading cross-functional teams to achieve cost control and continuous improvement targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Minimum 7–10 years' experience in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a senior or management role within a multi-site environment
- Strong experience within FMCG
- Strong experience within Manufacturing
- Strong experience within Distribution
- Strong experience within Complex operational environments
- Proven experience in Transport optimisation
- Proven experience in Warehousing
- Proven experience in Inventory management
- Proven experience in Logistics network optimisation
- Proven experience in Third-party logistics management
- Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and cost control capability
- Knowledge of SHEQ and logistics compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
