Job Summary
Group Leaders and Site Coordinators support YMCA Before & After School programs for multiple elementary sites. Responsibilities include leading age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, sports, enrichment), building relationships with students and families, promoting safe, inclusive environments, establishing routines and positive group dynamics, and overseeing daily site operations and program flow for experienced candidates. You may assist with planning special events, family engagement opportunities, and ensuring program quality, safety standards, and licensing compliance. Roles vary by experience and strengths, with opportunities for site leadership, staff oversight, and advancement to site coordinators or program directors. Requirements: 18+ years old (21+ for higher-level leadership), experience with children preferred, leadership or supervisory experience a plus, ability to pass background screening and meet YMCA/DCF requirements, CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain). Required Qualifications
