Job Summary
Lead and monitor daily packaging and distribution activities for Team Leaders and Warehouse Associates. Develop and revise standardized work while coaching staff in problem-solving and process improvement. Assign work, instruct associates, and direct efforts to monitor individual and group progress. Conduct performance reviews, recommend personnel actions, and suggest procedural changes to the departmental manager. Collect, extract, and interpret data from multiple sources to set up complex statistical reports and maintain databases. Create and execute database searches, compile final formats, and generate correspondence using advanced spreadsheet and reporting tools. Resolve discrepancies and provide decision-making guidance for large groups or projects. Act as a contact for vendors and lead departmental initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering or equivalent applicable work experience
- 3+ years job-specific experience
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of department and company policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of planning and legal issues associated with a leadership position
- Strong judgment in establishing work assignments in the area of responsibility and in the selection and interpretation of data
- Ability to delegate and motivate
- Excellent computer skills including spreadsheets, databases and word processing
- Strong mathematical and logical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
