Job Summary
Lead orderly, safe, and caring arrival and dismissal procedures while supporting teachers and administrators to surround students and families with a safe, caring context for learning. Establish safe hallways and maintain positive, caring presence with students and families during assigned weekly shifts at the Partner School. Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors, participate in professional learning opportunities, and communicate regularly via email and phone. Reflect on strengths and areas for growth to improve individual and team performance. Maintain friendly, open communication with families and demonstrate flexibility in weekly scheduling. Requires timely arrival, PETS background clearance, and completion of mandated training.
Required Qualifications
- Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment and Foundations in Health and Safety online training required (8-hours)
- Department of Education PETS background clearance
- High School diploma
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse classroom and adjust one's tone and height, by bending or leaning, in order to support program activities
Desired Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience working with Arete Education preferred
- College degree
