Job Summary
Group Leader Production role on-site in Silao, Guanajuato. Responsible for effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment; trains, develops, and evaluates hourly team members; leads lean manufacturing and GMS processes; supports launches and pilot activities; ensures production schedules, quality standards, and safety objectives; maintains labor relations with union and management; ensures JIT training and ergonomic/housekeeping practices; requires 4x3 shift, on-site with no relocation benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field OR equivalent experience
- Availability to rotate shifts (4x3)
- Leadership skills and ability to manage personnel/resources
- Experience in tracking and administering production activities
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in personnel management
- Knowledge of waste elimination systems (Kaizen, Lean, etc.)
- Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt certification
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (intermediate)
- On-site, full-time availability
