Job Summary
In this part-time Group Leader role at the Police Athletic League, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating learning activities, recreational sports, arts, and developmentally appropriate programming for youth. This position involves providing supervision to ensure participant health and safety, serving as a role model, supporting the implementation of planned activities, and maintaining communication with parents. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, be 18 years or older, and be committed to working after-school hours for 15 hours each week.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Available to work during the after-school hours, Monday-Friday, 15 hours per week
- Available to attend all training sessions (in-person and online), and orientation
Additional Requirements
- At the time of offer and acceptance, this job requires safety and security clearances which may include fingerprinting done by the Department of Education and the Department of Health.
