Job Summary
Oversee daily departmental operations to ensure efficient and high-quality production by performing and demonstrating key tasks with proficiency. Guide team members through daily feedback, coaching, and support while mentoring new hires and assigning tasks by example. Monitor and adjust workflow to meet production schedules, assist with scheduling and materials coordination, and enforce production policies and procedures. Lead by example through hands-on work, including inspections to ensure product quality before final release, and interact professionally with customers as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols and 6S standards while communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months or more experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site
Desired Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience
- Associate or trade certificate(s) related to the job function
- Computer literate with Microsoft office
