Job Summary
Group Leader responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate curriculum with Site Coordinator, ensuring compliance with EEC Licensing and QRIS Standards, YMCA Initiatives (Active Learning and HEPA Initiatives) and safety regulations; supervise children, plan lessons, manage daily attendance, maintain classroom safety and cleanliness, embody YMCA core values, and perform additional duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be EEC Group Leader qualified
- At least 18 years of age and meeting one of the following requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s or an Associate’s Degree, and three months working experience
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and six months of work experience.
- Have nine months of experience with school age children including three months of supervised experience at a school age child program.
- Relevant college classes in Education or related field is preferred
- Maintain current CPR certification and First Aid throughout employment.
