Job Summary
Group Leader responsible for front-line supervision of a critical process cleaning team in a manufacturing plant. Lead safety, quality, and on-time delivery of task work; work with the team to perform work safer, easier, and faster. Demonstrate authentic leadership and strong communication; deliver BEST RESULTS by engaging the team and delivering timely solutions for both the team and clients. Requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, team-building ability, strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and the capacity to prioritize and delegate tasks. Desirable experience includes Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, 6-Sigma, or continuous improvement, with exposure to automotive paint shop, industrial process cleaning, or janitorial supervision; background in manufacturing or facility maintenance is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, logistics environment, facility maintenance/management, retail supervision or food service/restaurant supervision required.
- Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, 6-Sigma or continuous improvement are desired.
- Automotive paint shop experience, industrial process cleaning, or janitorial supervision desired.
