Job Summary
Monitor production targets, ensure work completion, and track assembly schematics while instructing new team members. Apply lean manufacturing and safety best practices, manage parts and materials inventory, and expedite supplies as needed. Utilize IT solutions for tracking, monitoring, and documenting departmental activities. Lead by example, coach others on functional direction, and maintain sound judgment in a manufacturing environment. This hourly non-exempt role offers a starting pay of $30.50/hour with eligibility for overtime. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, comprehensive health coverage, and retirement plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years related experience
- Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to perform calculations
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and assembly schematics
- Basic ability to effectively coach and influence others while socializing/reinforcing the appropriate functional/operational direction
- Effective verbal communication
- Sound judgment and leadership
- Working knowledge of IT solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
