Job Summary
Monitor, guide, and work with the team to meet production targets by ensuring work is completed and tracked according to plant production goals. Instruct and train new team members while monitoring parts and materials within the department to expedites supply when needed. Provide leadership in applying lean manufacturing and safety best practices, utilizing IT solutions for tracking, monitoring, and documenting. Requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years related experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Starting pay is $30.50/hour for this hourly non-exempt role with overtime eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years related experience
- Thorough working knowledge of contemporary manufacturing and distribution processes
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to perform calculations
- Ability to write legibly
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and assembly schematics
- Basic ability to effectively coach and influence others while socializing/reinforcing the appropriate functional/operational direction
- Effective verbal communication
- Sound judgment and leadership
- Working knowledge of IT solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
