Job Summary
Reviews schedules and leads production employees in their daily work for the assigned department. Interprets work orders and requirements for welding, painting, fabricating, and assembling while coordinating tools, equipment, and supplies to maximize production flow. Investigates work performance issues, recommends solutions within established policies, and coordinates activities between work groups. Recommends changes to improve methods, procedures, and equipment to increase production. Ensures safety and housekeeping standards are met and maintained. Requires 1+ years of manufacturing facility experience, ability to document records accurately under tight timeframes, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Works both inside and outside in varying environmental conditions using personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Ability to document records accurately under tight timeframes
- Ability to accurately demonstrate visual inspections for safety, equipment and processes, parts and welding processes
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions including basic blue prints and schematics
- Ability to work both alone, and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to receive and interpret information and communicate it accordingly
- Ability to make quick, effective judgements to resolve problems or navigate challenges
- Ability to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid, and dusty conditions
- Employees are required to use personal protective equipment as environmental conditions dictate
