Job Summary
Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for lyophilizers, fillers, and packaging machinery while performing advanced troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Generate and coordinate engineering change orders, conduct investigations, and perform audits for cGMP compliance and safety regulations. Mentor junior personnel in troubleshooting and continuous improvement, while representing the department in vendor interactions and cross-functional meetings. Travel between multiple Hologic facilities to support equipment installation and maintenance. Requires valid driver's license, ability to work weekends, and 10+ years of experience in a GMP environment.

- Ability to solve advanced problems associated with programmable logic controllers
- Knowledge of windows-based computer systems
- Advanced knowledge of microprocessors and automation controls
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license to support multiple facilities
- Ability to operate mills, lathes, drill press, and power saws for fabrication of machine parts
- Detailed oriented with strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to articulate information to coworkers and suppliers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work weekends or other shifts on occasions
